San Juan Rando wrap up

The mountains dictate the conditions and we had "full conditions". Racers made it to the second checkpoint and the weather and visibility deteriorated to the point that we had to turn everyone around.

We had a great turn out from some of the elite ski mountaineering racers in the US. I think everyone one something in the raffle.

We will return next year sometime at the end of April.

The Silverton Avalanche School and Pine Needle Mountaineering thanks all of our sponsors: The COSMIC Series, Zia and Carvers.
